Other Music beside Elvis...

Sun Jul 31, 2005 4:21 pm

I am wondering what other artists you guys listen too or do you just listen to Elvis all the time.
I am also a fan of The Rolling Stones. Not as big as Elvis but I think their awesome. I also like classic Rock songs, sometimes some Metal like Metallica, Godsmack and Tool. I also listen to some Soul every now and then, the CD by John Legend is just awesome.
So you see, my taste in music is very broad, how about yours?

Sun Jul 31, 2005 4:45 pm

Rolling stones
Guns N Roses
Bob Marley

Sun Jul 31, 2005 5:22 pm

Millie Jackson
Huey Lewis & The News
The Undertones
The Clash
Bryan Ferry
Andy Williams
Tony Christie
Ella Fitzgerald
Billie Holiday
Tom Jones
Johnny Cash
Jimmy Buffett
Elvis Costello

And that's before we move to early classical music.

Something in there to annoy all the nieghbours, I think

I'm of the opinion if you're an Elvis fan, he takes you to other places as well. Hence in my collection I've got stuff by Ed Ames, Golden Gate Quartet, etc.

If you like Elvis, I think you like music and that's a big world to explore.

Happy hunting

Like all your posts.

Bruce "Springstein" must be a real favorite. What albums do you like by him?

Doc I have the triple live album, I like it but can't listen to a lot of it at one sitting.
The first buy was Born In The USA. And that is a very good album for me.
I also have The River not to bad an album.
His greatest hits CD.

And a couple of DVD's "Live In New York" And "The Video Anthology"

A lot of my CD's are packed away at the moment, I may actually have another one or two that I can't think of at the moment.
