I need input from true Elvis-lovers

Thu Jun 23, 2005 12:37 pm

Hey people, my name is Jeroen Haamers, I play guitar and sing in a loud rockabilly band called Batmobile. I love Elvis since I was 8 (which is more then 30 years ago). I used to collect everything about the man, but the last years I only buy CD's and DVD's of the man.
Recently I started working on a new musical project called Triple Dynamite. That's a new band that plays Elvis only......in our own way. We're no impersonators, far from that. I'm not into that. But we do love the King and we try and pick up his music in 2005.

You can hear a few bits of the recordings through the link below.

Please let me know what you think about this, I really appreciate your input.

Thanx in advance

Hammer -

Thanks for the link !

It's not crap.

Just sounds a bit 1980's !

Mind you, it would be great to have a revival of that rockabilly sound !

Thanx for the input Colin. As a matter of fact, I'm playing in my band (Batmobile) since 1983 and we made 10 albums between then and 1997 so you can say that I grew up in the 80's. Maybe that's something you still can hear in the music we do now. It's definately 00's (or how do you say that anyways)

And just like Elvis.......rockabilly will never die
