Lisa Marie enjoys "rough sex...porno"

#9741

Post by EagleUSA »

I was watching some news/entertainment show last night and saw a blurb where they quoted Lisa Marie as saying she "likes rough sex, the way they do it in porno." whooaaahhh... Now, Jeffd...settle down! lol...

What the hell is this all about? What's she trying to prove? And where does the line form? haha...seriously, though, I'm starting to wonder about the girl.

EagleUSA -

The quote is from her 'Playboy' interview.

She also says she would have been better as a lesbian !

Someone administer the smelling-salts to Jeff D !!

Thanks, Colin... I guess that interview explains the 3.9 earthquake they just experienced in Tennessee. The epicenter was Memphis and seismologists are fairly sure it was caused by Elvis spinning like a top.

Lisa Marie's only been on the scene about 3 months and I'm already sick & tired of these revelations! For 35 years she doesn't say hardly anything publicly. Suddenly the flood gates are open! Unfortunately, much of what is coming out is "dirty water." Doesn't this girl have any PR people to advise her that less is more?

Oh give me a break the women is 35 years old. She is not a little girl and hasn't been for a long time. She is also not a LADY. That is obvious. She is talking like she always does. Though I notice she doesn't say things like this to Jay Leno or Larry King. She changes with the environment. It is a PLAYBOY interview!!!!!

Some people need to get over this Daddy's little girl thing. She has been respectful for years. There is nothing wrong with her being candid about sex. At least she is keeping her mouth shut about polotics.

I for one am happy to find out that she likes rough sex. Makes me think she is actually all women and like sex. The lesbian comment is actual quite natural for a women that has burned a few times. If I had a nickel for everytime I heard a women said this after a bad relationship.

Were some of the people on this board born in caves? Have you guys not dated much? I have compared notes with other guys early on and this is common behavior. Though i have to admit, I found this stuff out in my early 20's. What Lisa is saying is hardly a revelation or a shock.

Oh Eagle USA. I am grateful you posted this, cause I will now buy the Playboy Issue. I like Lisa more and more. She is brutally honest and completely misunderstood.

I wonder if others feel the same way about some of Elvis comments. "Gives great head" comes to mind.

I am sure if the Colonol would have let Elvis do a Playboy interview, Elvis would have adapted. Some of the subject matter in his later movies proves that he could change.

Genesim, don't get me wrong...I'm not a prude by any stretch of the imagination. Some of the things I did in my youth would make even YOU blush...lol...& thankfully my wife hasn't yet found out about those two sisters...anyway...my point with Lisa Marie is that I don't understand why she's so public with these things. I think it's great that she's a real person, curses, is sexually active and that she experimented with girls. She's human. We get it.

The point I was getting at is simply...why do we need to know this? Is she going for a particular image now? I know she's grown up and not "Daddy's little girl" but it just seems odd that now, with a recording out, she's turning up all over the place and saying things seemingly for pure shock value.

The girl is free to say what she feels regardless if we agree with her or not. I hope that if she's going through the bother of speaking that what she's saying really is her. I'm sure opinions on this vary & if it weren't Elvis' daughter some of us might think differently, but I can't help wondering if this is just some PR crap to build her image as cool with the MTV crowd.

Still, you don't adress the most important thing. It is a PLAYBOY INTERVIEW. Most people that do interviews with them talk about sex. It is a given. Same went for Howard Stern. She is speaking her mind. Nothing wrong with that. Besides who doesn't like it like rough like a pornno?

Now when it came down to regular inteviews, she has showed proffesionalism. Jay Leno, David Letterman(again the balls comment for that program was fine), Diane Sawyer, the list goes on. She has fit every show and has shown versatility. On each show it didn't even seem like the same person. Each interview gets better and better to me. I thought Larry King was very personal and he even gave her good advice. Lisa seemed to actually suck this up like a sponge. This playboy interview is not going to hurt her, nor would a sexy video. The question is does she have talent..more to the point..CHARISMA. I think she has tons.

Like she said on Larry King..will you do more albums. Absolutely. This is a good sign. Give her some time. People are interested in her and are actually looking at her past the tabloids. Lets face it, myself included, most of us already judged her before she even said a word. Well her way, is slowly breaking down the prejudice image I have had. She is not messed up, she is a smart individual and could actually give Elvis the dignity he deserves.

P.S. 2 sisters huh. You lucky SOB!!!

"I can't help wondering if this is just some PR crap to build her image as cool with the MTV crowd."

I say whatever it takes. As long as people are talking, then they are interested. She has some serious mountains to climb. A little controversy never hurt. Hell the controversy of the past can actually help her as well. Ultimately it comes down to her talents. I think she has it, it may take some time though.

Genesim: I figured at least one of the "horn dogs" on this mb would weigh in on my post.
I think you missed the point of my post. If you will recall, I actually liked Lisa's cd overall, and posted my opinion on it awhile back. So I can't be considered "down on Lisa Marie" (err, maybe that's not the best choice of words, given this subject matter. I'm not anti-LM). Basically, I'm O.D.'d with celebrities in general running off at the mouth about politics, "new-age" religion, and in particular sex! If I'm a fan of someone it's because of their particular talent: acting; singing; comedy; whatever, not because of their personal political opinions, spiritual/religious inclinations (or lack thereof), or sexual habits. Now I completely support their right to free speech, and yes it is sometimes interesting to know how someone I'm a fan of thinks. But our society has become increasingly voyeuristic, and the Lisa Marie business is a vivid illustration. My beef with LM is that we've gotten 20+ years worth of "revelations" in just 3 months time! Personally, I'm a firm believer in operating on a "need to know" basis. There are things about LM and other celebrities for that matter that I simply don't need to know.

Ok I like how you label me as a horn dog. thank you. I worked HARD for that title.

Now, I don't really agree with you. Fair enough.

I must say one thing. Can you not understand that it is a Playboy Interview? What should she talk about? What she said sells copies. It gets guys interested..and bingo guess who buys her album. Chicks generally don't follow women like guys do. Though times are changing. Women don't mind women talking sexual. From what I have heard, they actually like it. Howeverr you feel about society now, it is what it is. So my apologies if you were talking aobut society in general. That is your opinion.

It being on a Lisa Marie thread, you can see how I would have got it wrong. I agree she has a lot of catching up to do. So why not have her get this crap out of the way NOW!! It is good promotion and it will maybe feed the media frenzy for a while.

Madonna loved it, so does Eminem. Hopefully Lisa will be smarter and stay out of polotics. She has for the most part. I hope she continues. Arguing for hunger or child abuse is one thing, but taking sides like Democrat or Rep. is a no no. Just my opinion. Sex I have no problem with. Elvis didn't seem to have it either. It is just different times. Actually Lisa Marie is tamer so far.

Rather than a self serving interview in Playboy -

I would much rather see her in the Playboy center spread.

Her 45 year old body would touch up well :D

I think that Lisa Marie is totally "trashing" out her career. It's obvious she has little talent as do many of the female singing artists. Why else would they trash themselves with talk of sex, sex, sex. Sex is a private thing and anyone who needs to spread it to everyone either is immature or just plain sleazy. One thing about Lisa is that she doesn't dress sleazy or sluttish....yet.
Most any female under 40 (and some over) seems to think that the way to the top is to show skin or talk sex. Whatever happened to talent? Does that not mean anything anymore?
I went to a Merle Haggard concert a few weeks back. After the first couple songs, he spoke to the crowd for a minute or so. He said "sometime tonight I'm going to show my belly-button...seems like the only way to make it today". Classic stuff but so true.
I know I will hear a lot of criticism from this reply. Go ahead. I have my opinions about this and so do you. But please don't throw that "this is not the dark ages" kind of crap. Immoral is immoral. No matter how you look at it.

Isn't this stuff taken from interviews??
Why are we complaining about her answers??
Shouldn't we be complaining about the questions???

I could be wrong here...but.... :o

One more time IT IS A PLAYBOY INTERVIEW! The other sexual remarks were made on Howard Stern. Not exactly unheard of. So she says she likes rough sex. Again what is wrong with that! Who doesn't! So she says she has gone down on a girl experimenting. Again, is this really a rare occurence(remind you of another women performer?). Lisa says she should have been born a lesbian. Has no one ever heard this coming out of a women's mouth after going through a divorce....let alone 3!!! She is only human, and I don't think it is strictly publicity. SO what if it is. Blame the establishment that loves stuff like this(myself included), don't blame Lisa. If she talks this way, then it is the freedom that was given to her, by other pioneer women performers before her. A long time ago people said M Monroe was immoral, they said Elvis was. It is only language for petes sake. What is considered immoral today, will probably be excepted as ordinary years from now. What Lisa says is hardly shocking to me. Hell Forrest Gump has worse language then that. I mean seriously, Forrest made a mess in a towel and that is OK for family entertainment? What about showing the birthing of a baby on a friggen telephone commercial during the superbowl? At least Lisa has kept it to the adult audiences.

Why is it different if Jack Nicholson says things like this? How about Tom Cruise. Why is it a female is trashy, but for men its ok? I think it is the old double standard. I got news for Merle Haggard. MADONNA!! The belly button was done years ago. Nothing new. Funny how people said the same thing about Madonna and yet few doubt her abilities to at least entertain and write great songs.

Lisa has done nothing different. I think with each interview I have seen on TV she has shown more and more proffesionalism. Larry King was a great interview and I learned a lot. Considering her cirucumstances, I think she has come a long way. I realize after time that my prejudices about her are dead wrong. In the words of Elvis Presley "I don't know much about music, but in this business you don't have to" Lisa has to entertain, so far all I can see is improvement with every performance. I look forward to seeing a show with her and I also look forward to more studio efforts. I simply refuse to believe that she hasn't gotten a fraction of her dads talent. If this is true, then even that is something to see.
