Today, I came across a somber message on Facebook from Kathleen O'Sullivan, the mother of Trevor, sharing the news of his passing.
This is Trevors mother Kathleen O Sullivan.
I have some heartbreaking news for all Trevors friends
Trevor passed away last night peacefully in his sleep.
I discovered this at 10 30 pm last night (our time)when
I went into his room to ask if he needed anything like a drink etc.
First of all I want to thank all of his friends as they were always there for him through his horrific journey.
Secondly I especially want to thank everyone who went out of their way to send gifts vouchers and leave gift bags at hospital especially during covid when he wasn't allowed visitors.
Finally to the thousands of Elvis fans on Trevors group "His Truth is Marching on"ye all
were (are) amazing human beings.
Trevor would spend hours updating his group and it kept him occupied.
It was always a labour of love for him.
I'm especially mentioning a few people I knew very well.

Finally I always knew Trevor used his writing as a coping mechanism as it helped him through the horrendous long days in hospital and made his stays a million times worse by being in isolation always.
Thanks again wonderful kind generous friends.
Please those of u that have faith please pray for us as a family.
Dreading the next few days but have arranged
some Elvis music during Funeral Mass.

I was gutted when I saw his mother's post, he was a top, top guy, we chatted quite a bit, not just about Elvis but about Liverpool FC as well, his Elvis group is probably the best Elvis group on Facebook. Sleep easy my friend.

You knew this was coming, he was very poorly, but it was still such a shock. I’m gutted, his fb group was the only one I was in. He stood for no nonsense, no hearts and emojis, no ETA’s….

Was very sad to hear this, I actually looked up to see when the funeral was, but the announcement wasn't made by his Mother until afterwards. Probably a good idea.
Like others have said, his group on FB was the best one, and the only one I was a member of. The rest I hide as I see them as they're all full of fakes and nonsense.
RIP to a good guy.
