It's one of the less offensive mid-60s movie songs, for sure.
It's also the very last song EP recorded before beginning work on the How Great Thou Art sessions, which seems very appropriate.

I recall growing up in Chicago when Spinout album was originally released in '66, DJs played primarily I'll Be Back, Tomorrow is A Long Time, Down in The Alley and I'll Remember You. Also DJs were saying is Elvis breaking away from the traditional movie recordings? Fans and non-fans were lighting up the switchboards calling into radio stations. They loved the songs, requested DJs to keep playing them, saying they hope Elvis is taking a break from the movies and asking if Elvis will start touring again? One DJ who was a big Rolling Stones fan said after talking to a fan about Elvis possibly touring again, “That would be AWESOME! Maybe they could call the tour Elvis Is Back!”
