Great, what a powerhouse he was in 1972. One can only imagine how good the original quality of this footage is.

He Tomek,
Have you already redone the footage?? You are the best in dubbing 8 mm footage. You know that don't you.
Looking forward to see it.
Greetings Michel.

Hi kaatje,
work is in progress. I had problems with computer. It took me whole day today to reinstall Windows and all service packs and all that sh*t that made Bill Gates rich man.
So I will be finishing this one pretty soon.
It looks pretty nice with sound, I can tell you that
Thak's for you kind words. If there will be someone who will want to look at those clips I will keep doing them.
This one will be really cool.
Will try to finish it asap.
Cheers

Hi Tomek,
Good news about the footage. Not good news about your PC. I hope everything is OK right now.
Are you also working on the 8 MM footage from the latest Hot Shots DVD Vol.5???
Looking forward to your footage. Greetings. Michel.

Hi,
don't have Hot Shots vol.5 yet. But I would love to overdub clips from that one. Maybe some day.
Cheers

Ok here it is. Not my finest work, but I quite like it. It's hard to match sound when you don't have actual show in audio. I tried my best on that one. Used Long Beach sound (2shows). Looks like there was a little audio problem after upload to youtube (not matching in few moments). Sorry for that, it's not my fault
It will never be perfect, but you know. It's just to make and impression how it was. Video isn't perfect too, but I hope you will like it anyway. I do.
Cheers.

Thanks guys. It's a patchwork as you can see. But I hope it shows how it could be.
I made those 2 this night (I just love that 1973 clip, even the sound isn't to good, but what a show, what the hell was he doing at Aloha shows, this one is so much better, he moves at least):

As usual fantastic job. The Love Letters clip is goosebump-worthy.
Well, when you're performing in front of 1 billion+ people live, then...you're bound to freeze up due to nerves right???

Yea but remember Milton Berle show? What he did that night? He changed the world.
He could move a little bit more on Aloha show too. I know it was huge and everything, but hell he was Elvis Presley right? He was the man who made it all and he stood tall
