Hilarious!
So sad when he died as a result of a drink-driver.

Re: Sam Kinison Are You Lonesome Tonight
yes Sam Kinison was a genius comedian..I think it would be funny to do this version at karaoke along with Hurt 69..lol.
by the way we've already had a long conversation about Kinison and this song few months back,,since apparently a lot of people out side of the U.S. doesn't know who he is,,here's the link to the other post http://www.elvis-collectors.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=57270.

I'm in Scotland and remember him well - and fondly - from the '80s and '90s. It was great when he appeared on Married With Children.

Re: Sam Kinison Are You Lonesome Tonight
I liked his song to Rodney Dangerfield on his 1989 TV special better . . . but we can't post that one on here.
The gimmick was that Rodney's girlfriend LaVerne (Jennifer Reynolds) was cheating on him with everybody, and he's at his bar drinking, because he wants to wait to hear the piano player sing. So Sam, as a buddy, sings a nice song for Rodney that goes similar to what we saw above and Rodney starts gugging the champange bottle as Sam starts going nuts.

Pretty funny. I haven't seen Sam footage in years, I liked him a lot as a kid. I enjoyed his role in Back To School.
