Here you can also post any related video's of Elvis too, except impersonator video's where they imitate Elvis' voice of material he recorded.

Looked and sounded great to me! Elvis at 30% is STILL better than anybody else at 100%. any day :smt007 of any given week.....he could still sing his a$$ off till the very end.
Thank u for the footage!

Quit what? My opinion?

Yes.

If you sincerely think that Elvis was better than everyone else when he was only at 30%, one has to assume that you've not seen or heard very many performers.

Have a happy.

I've always liked the echo effect on the recording of the Indy show. I'm not exactly sure why I like the echo sound, but listening to Elvis sing Bridge Over Troubled Water from this show for the first time gave me chills, knowing it was his last live performance ever, but the sound definitely contributed to it.

Ok rob. That's your opinion. I have my own and don't need you to tell me what I have or haven't heard/done in my lifetime. Sincerely. I truly am an Elvis fan and that's why I am here. I appreciate him and his style. I am thankful we had him for the short time we did. Phenomenal talent even at 30%.
Nobody is perfect all the time. Have you seen many performers live? Omg. If it weren't for studios some of these singers would have no career. And so I stand by my original statement.....

Even if it's only 30%.

The 30% statement makes no sense.
In June '77 Elvis was at least on 35% of his capability!

You are probably right! If not more than 35%. Either way , he sounded great to me!

I saw him one month before he died, well nearly two months before. It was May 1st in Chicago and I'll never forget it. I'll never forget hearing him sing My Way, In The Early Morning Rain, Hurt, You Gave Me a Mountain! I was screaming and I was listening to every word. That man never lost the beautiful God-given sound in his voice. True he lost the moves of his youth. I will never forget the sadness I felt when I saw him "shake it," all he could shake was one leg. He could still sing to my heart and make me swoon but his body was so broken down and it was sad. But I loved him with all my heart and my lifelong dream to see him had finally been realized and I was content. It was 100% to me.

Joe Esposito once said:

"If you saw Elvis' shows the last few years of his life, you should have asked for a refund. It's drugs you saw on stage that night....it wasn't Elvis"
