Great clip. Comes from Return To Spleandour vhs/dvd. Maybe the second best footage from my favorite tour of the 70s. Really great audiodubbing you have done so thanks. The complete footage I have from Kansas lasts about 21 minutes if I remember correctly.
Take care.

I think it's much less, at least on Return To Splendour - 12 minutes?
But it's all I could match without sound for proper show.

Yes I know, but the complete footage on the collector market are over 20 minutes. I wish I had the time putting together all the great amount of footage from this tour and make a complete show. I have done the work on the Kansas show, but it should be possible to use footage from the other shows and make a fairly complete show as the dvd from the Madison Square Garden shows. The amount of footage from this last really great tour are impressive.
Sincerely

But the Kansas on eis best on Return To Splendaor, the other source I got is not so good.

Yes, using and putting together footage from Houston, Dallas, Baltiore, Philadelphia, Cincinnatti and Kansas and fill inn the gaps with lesser quality footage from Boston and Cleveland would probably make a great "complete" show.

I prefer to have the footage from all the shows separate but put together from different sources of the same show and the correct audio of that show than having different footage from different shows to make it look complete.Kenneth wrote:Yes, using and putting together footage from Houston, Dallas, Baltiore, Philadelphia, Cincinnatti and Kansas and fill inn the gaps with lesser quality footage from Boston and Cleveland would probably make a great "complete" show.

If there is no existing audio to go with the footage I would either like another shows audio overdubbed on the footage or silent.Kenneth wrote:...and what do you prefer if that is not possible of the existing footage and audio from that tour?ben wrote:I prefer to have the footage from all the shows separate but put together from different sources of the same show and the correct audio of that show than having different footage from different shows to make it look complete.Kenneth wrote:Yes, using and putting together footage from Houston, Dallas, Baltiore, Philadelphia, Cincinnatti and Kansas and fill inn the gaps with lesser quality footage from Boston and Cleveland would probably make a great "complete" show.

We are talking about videoediting of fan filmed super 8 footage of Elvis Presley from the November 1971 tour and not a dinner date with dogs....ColinB wrote:Sounds like a dog's dinner...........................Kenneth wrote:Yes, using and putting together footage from Houston, Dallas, Baltiore, Philadelphia, Cincinnatti and Kansas and fill inn the gaps with lesser quality footage from Boston and Cleveland would probably make a great "complete" show.

Re: Elvis Live In Kansas 1971 - 9.41min -NEW
Example: If footage of Suspicious Minds are not fanfilmed completely from a show in November 1971 - do you mind using footage from Baltimore on 9 Nov 71, Houston 12 nov 71 and Kansas 14 nov 71 to make that song complete and using soundboard audio from Boston 10 Nov 71? If that is ok for you then we understand eachotherben wrote:If there is no existing audio to go with the footage I would either like another shows audio overdubbed on the footage or silent.Kenneth wrote:...and what do you prefer if that is not possible of the existing footage and audio from that tour?ben wrote:I prefer to have the footage from all the shows separate but put together from different sources of the same show and the correct audio of that show than having different footage from different shows to make it look complete.Kenneth wrote:Yes, using and putting together footage from Houston, Dallas, Baltiore, Philadelphia, Cincinnatti and Kansas and fill inn the gaps with lesser quality footage from Boston and Cleveland would probably make a great "complete" show.

If a song was not completely filmed and there was no 'alternate' footage from that 'scene' in the same show I would rather the footage and the audio just be faded out and the next available song/part of song come up instead of footage from other shows be added to make it look complete. Am I clear?/ (sorry I'm a bit slow today with reading and getting my point across).

Then we fully understand each other, but are not agree By the way - if I were responsible for videoediting the above example using footage from 3 different shows you would think that was completely filmed. Ok, not know when I told you thatben wrote:Ahh I understand now Kenneth.Kenneth wrote:Example: If footage of Suspicious Minds are not fan filmed completely from a show in November 1971 - do you mind using footage from Baltimore on 9 Nov 71, Houston 12 Nov 71 and Kansas 14 Nov 71 to make that song complete and using soundboard audio from Boston 10 Nov 71? BUT damn, I don't have the time videoediting anymore. Really hard work....
Take care

Ben, there's audio recording of Kansas show, but it sound so damn bad that you wouldn't watch it anyway.
This clip is just a taste how the show could look like.
Just a better look on it.
Everybody knows that the sound is from different show.
I just made it for fun. To see how this November tour was.
It's not a stuff you can watch insteed of pro footage like TTWI.
I just for fans, to take closer look at the tour from time to time.
I would love to have enough material to make complete show with proper sound.
But it never be I think. So that's all I could do with it.
Cincinnati comming next pretty soon.
Cheers

I hate it when people substitute inaccurate footage to make it feel like a complete show
