Here you can also post any related video's of Elvis too, except impersonator video's where they imitate Elvis' voice of material he recorded.

I was praising this film [in the review section] recently, but this is one of the weaker scenes from it !

His moves look stiff & awkward, and his 'suit' is based on a pair of pyjamas.

Such a waste, because he himself was looking pretty good then.

REF: Edge Of Reality video taken from STAR DVD "Born to Rock 3"

He's holding back, even with his head movements and gestures, notice it's deliberate, controlled yet at the same time totally natural,he is tuned in, it's instinctive, intuitive , he is a genius

This is what makes me a fan, there is Something about him, every performance something different is brought to the table, simply never ceases to amaze me,and i have seen them all!

And this video is outstanding

BTW,notice the outstanding audio too

R.I.P Rick Aug 2nd 1969 through may 13th 1973 you made great documents

Did you watch the same thing as me ?

Compare this with Mean Woman Blues or the end version of Got A Lo O' Livin' To Do from Loving You.

That was instinctive & intuitive.

This is contrived hokum.

Hi Colin,

Allways marvelled at that (better than moonwalk) killer sideslide type move, freakin awesome beyond belief

But "Edge Of Reality" performance is not competing with that, it is completely and utterly different , brilliant in it's own right, think of these performances as paintings, works of art, done by the greatest master of all time, all different

This is how i like to think of them

Peace

Now, THAT was brilliant.

bril·liant [ bríllyənt ]

adjective

Definition:

1. extremely bright or radiant: extremely bright or radiant
brilliant sunshine
a brilliant smile

2. vivid: vividly colored
a brilliant shade of green

3. intelligent or talented: showing exceptional intelligence, ability, skill, or talent
a brilliant mathematician

4. excellent: distinguished by excellence

5. splendid: imposingly splendid or magnificent

"Hound Dog" from June 5, 1956 was brilliant.
"Trying To Get To You" from June 27, 1968 was brilliant.
The Las Vegas shows from 1969 were brilliant.
"An American Trilogy" from January 14, 1973 was brilliant.

The scene in "Live A Little, Love A Little" falls just a tad short.

Before this subject runs on too long i thought that i had better mention that i am talking about the STAR DVD "Born to Rock 3" and their edit "Edge Of Reality" and not only the Brilliant edit but also the brilliant audio

i am not talking about the scene in "Live A Little Love A Little" movie as it exists,i am talking about "Edge Of Reality" Music video if you will

In the original film the audio is weaker ,aren't they all

That said the new "Live A Little Love A Little" recent DVD re-release exhibits a noticeable upgrade in picture quality better transfer from source and thus looks cleaner and crisper picture quality, better colours etc,

ANYWAY back to the subject at hand

STAR have dubbed the sound and have done an awesome job ,they have (widened) the sound stage image

The STAR edit with Elvis spinning at the start etc and the ending and the clever manipulation of these images and the brilliant audio all put the icing on the cake for me regarding this piece

Brilliant

Yet another youtube account containing brilliant fan made videos has been suspended, this fan had built up nice amount of subscriptions and was introducing thousands of people to Elvis

Pathetic & self defeating greed just like the Colonel

I really must protest at all this female flesh on display.

This isn't a porn site, you know.

And we male posters aren't spotty teenagers, drooling over pics of girls because we can't get the real thing.

Yet another friends elvis youtube video's have been removed ,they took him hours,no days to make and he made them because he wanted people to see the Elvis that they do not know,he never made a dime, never will, never have

He now swears he will never bother to waste his time ever again making video's of Elvis

Seems You can have countless video's of the Beatles up with no problems but Not Elvis

My friend is done with it

Why 'make' a video up of this song? What is there to make? I don't understand. Just enjoy it as it was.
