Here you can also post any related video's of Elvis too, except impersonator video's where they imitate Elvis' voice of material he recorded.

Go to this link at the Rockabilly Hall of Fame to see several Little Richard performances. The first is Rip it Up - keep watching and the others follow. Hound Dog is the fourth song he does or you can click on the small icons that appear when you move the cursor over the image to jump ahead to it.

The footage is circa 1964, when he returned to rock music and the UK really embraced him. That's Sounds Incorporated backing him up -- they ain't his New Orleans crew from 1955-56 but they aren't too bad. What's interesting is how Penniman is so much more polite in this incarnation than what he cut on those classic Specialty singles, and yet he is still one HELL of a rocker! What a great voice!!

God bless the genius of Little Richard.
