Here you can also post any related video's of Elvis too, except impersonator video's where they imitate Elvis' voice of material he recorded.

Elvis Presley with "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" recorded from the original US 78 rpm shellac single on RCA Victor 20-6381 released on December 20, 1955. "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" with A-side "Good Rockin' Tonight", was originally released on October 1954 on Sun 210. Both sides were recorded in September 1954 at Memphis Recording Service (Sun Studio) in Memphis with Elvis Presley on vocal and acoustic rhythm guitar, Scotty Moore on electric lead guitar and Bill Black on stand-up bass.
The session was produced by Sam Phillips. Words and music by Mack David.

Musical style: Rockabilly, Rock & Roll.

Video recorded by Antoon van Olderen using an audio-technica player model AT-LP1240-USB with an Ortofon 2M 78 MM-stylus and audio captured off air via a Driade D 71 MK II speaker. This video is a recorded live demonstration of a playback of the 78 RPM shellac format on modern day equipment and is shared for archival and research purposes.

"Mystery Train" is a song written and recorded by American blues musician Junior Parker in 1953. Originally performed in the style of a Memphis blues or rhythm and blues tune, it was inspired by earlier songs and later became a popular rockabilly song, as first covered by Elvis Presley, then numerous others.

Elvis Presley's version of "Mystery Train" was first released on August 20, 1955, as the B-side of "I Forgot to Remember to Forget".
In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it at number 77 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

does it ever make any of you wonder what was the last RCA 78 RPM for an Elvis record either in UK or USA ?

Another question, did 78 RPM pressings for Elvis' music continue in other foreign markets beyond 1964?

Testing my Elvis Presley 1950’s RCA 78 RPM Records. Do they still play?

Quote The King's Court: "Finally got something to test play my old (and crappy looking) Original Elvis RCA 78’s."
