My copy of the extended RPO Christmas album is on its way from Amazon. Looking forward to listening to it.

I just received mine Ken, now playing, and I must admit that I like it! Warming up to Premiere League football this afternoon. Dreadfull weather outside and Elvis Christmas With the RPO on the stereo. (And some brews piled up)
There are some real fine arrangements on here. The First Noel, which I never liked on the original album, shines here! So far I think this is a real fine album done by the RPO crew! Finally after first listen, I like the treatment of the four bonus songs on here. I'm sure gonna play this album this season, along with the others.
I wonder it they used the binaural masters for those 4 gospel numbers? Isolating Elvis' vocal They sure sound fine to me! I'm actually digging this!.....

Having listened to the album, I have to agree with your every word. Great Christmas album. My first impression is that it outshines its predecessors. "I’ll Be Home for Christmas" is a song that has really grown on me over the years. I really love Elvis’s vocals on this one. Carrie Underwood performed it beautifully on Christmas Duets by the way, which might be my favourite version of the song.
