Sure, here it is. Very nice tracklist.
But love letters is the 1970 version... Totaly out of place here...

Listening to this german pressing from 1972. Reading the liner notes on the back cover I see that RCA in the UK 1972 "taking positive steps towards restoring the the Elvis Presley L.P. catalogue which has been lacking since some early albums were deleted". First to be re-released was King Creole, A Date With Elvis and Elvis For Everyone. This is of course a fantastic compilation of 50s songs but the sound, Electronic Stereo...well, could be better. Like the photo on the front!

Listening to the latest FTD Vinyl which sounds great and clear but lacks a bit of bass

Just bought this german original mono release from 1960 and listening to it this moment. Have not listened to G.I. Blues for a long time but this really is a fine soundtrack! No weak numbers, all songs so fine, so good voice, maybe the version of Blue Suede Shoes is least interesting if you compare it to the 50s version. Didja Ever is a favourite! Funny and att the same time some social realism...cold water when you take a shower.

This compilation from 1979... Strange that "the girl of my best friend" is included on a 50's compilation... The most anoying is that all the 50's tracks are in reproccessed stereo...

Bought this french re issue from 1974 which must be the last pressing of this LP in France during Elvis lifetime.
I really like this soundtrack! So many good songs, and songs like Guitar Man, Big Boss Man, Just Call Me Lonesome and You Don´t Know Me is Elvis at his best. And they are bonus songs! A little odd that there is a remark under You Don´t Know Me "Specially recorded for records"...
That is why Elvis wasn't satisfied with the movie master.
He thought he could do better and he did. And that rerecording was released.
It was better.
So the remark made sense.

This fine collection I have listened to tonight, german pressing from 1975. Wonderful compilation with favourites as I´m Leavin´, Rags To Riches, I Just Can´t Help Believing and Burning Love and Always On My Mind. Surprised me a little that seven of the twelve tracks are in mono. Is this the only release pre Elvis passing with an album of only 70s hits?

No it is not strange.
The 50s decade started Januar 01, 1951 and ended december 31, 1960, so the 1960s "Elvis Is Back session" was recorded.

Reason: ...because there was no Year Zero, the first decade of the common era (CE or AD) was years 1 to 10, the second decade was years 11 to 20, and the next decade will be years 2021 to 2030. (or as for the 50s = 1951 to 1960)"

From time to time I play this beauty again. My very first one in 1975, after that I became a fan till now.
I still know the order of the songs were pressed on this double album and every little crackling and hissing the record made while playing it.
Maybe without listening to the radio spot of this Arcade release where Hound Dog flashed me so much many things would have happened a different way..

This one...and altough it says it's electronicaly reproccessed stereo, it sounds very good!
You would't notice it, if it wasn't noted.
It's not drowned in echo or noise like the other fake stereo ones, it's not awful at all.
Very good 1972 british release!

This one has a special place in my heart, my first Camden with some great and rare tracks at that time.

That’s spooky…I listened to this a couple of days ago when I was making a needle drop copy. I would have preferred it had they put the tracks on in chronological order. Bouncing around from Frankie & Johnny songs with those from Change of Habit and even The Trouble with Girls did not offer the greatest listening experience. Nice photo sleeve - shame the sings were a little mismatched in places.

This very moment going back almost 65 years to that magic occasion on december 4th 1956. Found this version this day. It is pure joy to hear these guys having a good time, singing mostly country- and gospel classics. Feels good to take part of their session.

Inspired by Buddy's first Elvis album purchase, it reminded me of mine. I bought in in 1978 for the princely sum of 7 pounds, a fortune to a young kid, worth it for the beautiful artwork alone, I think this English RCA edition of the mega selling 'Arcade' 40 Greatest Hits' has the edge for its sheer beauty, I never tired of looking at the collage and we didn't even own a record player back in those days, but I had to have Elvis in the house.

Seeing this reminded me of another "needle drop" recording of an earlier UK Camden (International actually) that I did last week, which of course I Iistened to to ensure it was okay.

Back in 1971, I had already received a copy of the US version with the "live" photo on the sleeve from my pen-pal, but in late July '71, whilst on holiday in Wales, I came across a copy of the very new UK release of C'mon Everybody in Boots the Chemist (it had only come out the day before so I was told) .
C'mon Everybody UK Intenational INTS 1286.jpg
I was surprised and very happy that RCA UK were still attempting to put a photo on their sleeves which was a little closer to the contents of the album (something they did not do for the I Got Lucky follow up. But I just had to buy it to ensure my UK collection was up to date. And then they used the same photo for the Easy Come Easy Go sleeve when that was released on Camden four years later, but with a slightly different track selection and two more tracks.

I wionder how many non fans buying the US version thought it was yet another "live" album.

I didn't know about the same wedding picture being used on two separate budget albums so thanks for that. As a friend said to me once, "every day is a school day" and you've proved him correct.
