Is he still around? I was hoping he had taken his negativity elsewhere.
Oh, there's room here for everybody. Though it is refreshing that he, and a couple of others, are posting their negativity less and less these days.
Why can't everyone be gay in the morning like me? Hell, even at night I'm still the same.

Probably already mentioned but the version on dixieland delight is my favourite
Mine too. I love it how he holds the notes!

For me its a toss between the august 28th 1974 version and the dixieland rocks may 6 1975 one...

That 1974 version is indeed also surprisingly good, considering it was not performed for almost a year at that time.

None of them. It's still one of my least favorite songs that Elvis Presley ever sung. Period. That doesn't mean it's not a good song, which it probably is. But there's something in it I could never really stand - even up to the point when I had to go through this sh*t in real life. With the exception that I didn't have the choice or opportunity to "stay". Anyway... I don't like it. Even though I listened to quite a few live performances of the tune and really liked the endings (because it was over then
).
