In what way. It's a 20 minute album with 5 of the 11 tracks playing for less than 2 minutes each, has some pretty poor novelty type songs (It's Carnival Time and Carny Town) and with virtually zero outtakes. Okay nice to have it along with Kissin Cousins, but AWESOME.sundial77 wrote:Roustabout would be AWESOME! .Mike Windgren wrote:Hi there!!![]()

Now that conflicts with what I heard - the release of all the rehearsals and shows from the On Tour season on 7 CDs with a 100 page book is scheduled for the next release, but I was told it would be early January to tie in with his 82nd Birthday.Ken Jensen wrote:For the first time in FTD history, a massive 12-CD box set of 1976 concerts will be released just in time for Christmas. It's called HURT and contains:
CD 1: March 21, ES
CD 2: April 27
CD 3 & 4: May 9, CS (incomplete Tahoe soundboard from Bruce Jackson's collection)
CD 5: June 2
CD 6: July 5 (band solos have been edited to make it shorter than 80 minutes)
CD 7: August 1
CD 8: September 5
CD 9: October 16
CD 10: November 28
CD 11: December 11, MS (Vegas soundboard from Bruce Jackson's collection)
CD 12: December 27 (soundboard from Bruce Jackson's collection)
Retail price is expected to land around 125 euros, but please contact your supplier to confirm this when the official announcement hits the web.

Such a set requires 8 CDs, not 7, but nice try. Besides, this box is (hopefully) slanted for release on the mass market next summer.emjel wrote:Now that conflicts with what I heard - the release of all the rehearsals and shows from the On Tour season on 7 CDs with a 100 page book is scheduled for the next release, but I was told it would be early January to tie in with his 82nd Birthday.Ken Jensen wrote:For the first time in FTD history, a massive 12-CD box set of 1976 concerts will be released just in time for Christmas. I can't see them doing both can you.
I agree...., I'd buy it as well. It's still Elvis and almost all of those shows I do not have.Johnny2523 wrote:haha good joke...Ken Jensen wrote:For the first time in FTD history, a massive 12-CD box set of 1976 concerts will be released just in time for Christmas. It's called HURT and contains:

But i would buy it, you picked out some interesting shows.
In all fairness, most of the 1976 soundboards come in great sound. Nonetheless, I agree with you.emjel wrote:If it was true and it cost 25 Euros, I'd pass on this. No time for repetitive soundboards with mainly sub standard sound.

Is this for real and if so are these all soundboards ?
There are some fans who would gladly give up a body part for that release.Ken Jensen wrote:For the first time in FTD history, a massive 12-CD box set of 1976 concerts will be released just in time for Christmas. It's called HURT and contains:

Or EIC. Especially for EIC (DVD/BD release, obviously).Domino wrote:midnightx wrote:There are some fans who would gladly give up a body part for that release.Ken Jensen wrote:For the first time in FTD history, a massive 12-CD box set of 1976 concerts will be released just in time for Christmas. No.....that's only for TTWII or EOT.
Nine takes of "Carny Town" would be a Follow That Dream come true.emjel wrote:In what way. Hurry hurry, step this way. Well, I'd buy it. Call it my guilty pleasure if you like, but I've always immensely enjoyed Roustabout, both the movie itself and the soundtrack. In fact, I'd say it's my favourite Elvis movie.midnightx wrote:It would certainly be an artistic revelation.drjohncarpenter wrote:Nine takes of "Carny Town" would be a Follow That Dream come true.emjel wrote:In what way.
