Swedish rock n roll singer Jerry Williams appeared on a show focusing on country music.
It's hosted by a swedish country singer called Jill Johnson. She invites swedish singers to Nashville to make them experince country music.
Anyway, when Jerry was asked to pick a song they could record in the famous RCA studio B. He without hesitation said "Crawfish would be fun, I've never done it. Let's try it"
I think it really cooks!
Here it is.

I like a rare 1958 recording by the Stone Crushers. Led by legendary songwriter, arranger and bandleader Jesse Stone, the RCA single was a mostly-instrumental re-do of the Presley master.

Re: A cover of Crawfish
The performance is OK. The tempo is a little klunky, but they seem to be having fun. "Crawfish" is a sexy song, not unlike something like the classic "Fever." Elvis' recording fully understands this, which is why it is such a wonderful example of his artistry. The late Joe Strummer often called "Crawfish" his very favorite Presley tune.Rockin_John wrote:drjohncarpenter wrote: The link won't play for me. Is it the same as this YouTube video?
