it IS...and much clearer than the 'Such a night' from Colonel Snow sample!... I WOULD SAY 'LISTENABLE' AND I'LL BUY IT !~ :D.. still 'noisey' audience sound though.

Its about time ive ordered this but my concern is when are SA and FTD going to bring out a better sounding of this concert. Why can't these guys work together and share what they have and not bring out the same Concerts. I know wake up Chris but it happened with Columbia 77 Touchdown brought out Welcome to paradise city and a week later SA brought out the double cd Hot Love in a long cold winter. I hope we are not going to have the same with Atlanta. TBH i think if these labels had the concert i feel it would of been released already. Who has Wichita from the 27th Dec. Great little tour for that time frame . Looking forward to having this complete and not from the 8mm reel or what ever it was use to make the cd

:? hmm don't know... all i heard was ages ago (back in 2014) guy's were searching fo Wichata in good sound audience to bring out... but never heard ANYTHING more about that!!....then past TOUCHDOWN releases have (at least) been listenable and this is a slight improvement on what i had b4...so i'm "IN",..but as far as FTD bringing a soundboard out-that won't happen cause they don't have it or Wichata i'm afraid.... :|

Although the sound is still not good...its a worthwhile addition to the ardents fans collection. The show is too good to be missed. One of the best of the later years. However,..fans who appreciate good sound will pass........understandable..

Thanks to Ernst Joergensen, Roger Semon and Erik Rasmussen for the great work. Keep the spirit alive !

Well, technically the sound may not be that good, but as far as audience recordings go 'good' sound is also around capturing the feel of the concert, the right balance and in this case the arena ambience.
Sounds like Elvis voice came across really well in the Omni and to me that already results to listening pleasure..

So this sounds like good sound but I only listened through cheap apple earphones at this point..

I listened to the sample through both my speakers and headphones. Elvis sounded clear on both!

:D Yeah it's 'listenable' and if you like 'audience 'atmosphere' PLENTY of that because the noisey audience is picked up a lot!

He did an awesome job with this live in '76. He should have added this to his show more often.
Given your upload is an Mp3 lossy file, I would say they are pretty much from the same source quality.

What -- no "oh man, not another 1976 show" comments? :)

Yes, I am fully aware why and fully aware why Atlanta is so important, and why I will be picking this one up.

Just ribbing you guys.

Wiebe"Definitely worth picking up. .
I'd say for collectors of such stuff a must-have although the sound is still not good...sounds like Elvis is singing in a tin can...

I am not negative..I am looking forward to the show..really...high time to get this fantastic show on shiny disc in compact form in a proper set. I just got spoilt soundwise a bit the past months..and be honest..this is fairly decent tour sound recorded in a hall..Eugene 1976..

Those pictures above show how unhealthy he still was. His eyes are tiny slits in that lower picture, despite the great smile.

This concert is very good but Birmingham is still the best of the week. That semi a cappella version of First Time Ever I Saw Your Face is mesmerizing.

:D Great photo thanks 'Steamroller Blues' :P i will certainly be buying a copy as (most) touchdoen cd's have been 'listenable' in my opinion, and i personally noted sound is at least slightly up-graded to 'listenable' + and a real BIG PLUS this last tour from 1976 was BEST tour of the year-without any doubt... sure if you want to use a magnifying glass and criticise you can find fault, but not me i am out to ENJOY Elvis last ever superb great tour...all that came after was a few well sung songs and 'passable shows' with vast majority a dissapointment... NO DISSAPOINTMENT for me in last tour of 76' Elvis ROCKED!~ :D :smt007 ::rocks
