You guys laugh, but I remember the book signings. It was usually right after the reprise of "Hurt", Charlie would bring a small table out on stage and Elvis would sit down at a chair behind it. The audience would then be allowed to file on stage and get their books signed. Of course, the Colonel and Lamar would be there selling copies of the book for those who forgot to bring theirs. JD, James, and Myrna kept the line moving while Ronnie and Sherrill would open the books for Elvis to sign. This would go on for about 15-20 minutes until all 12,000 or so books were signed and then he would go on with the show. I can't believe you guys don't remember this as it happened at all shows after 2-16-76.
Humphhh, and you call yourselves fans!

Well that proves it, Elvis obviously did not die on August 16th 1977, he signed 'Candidly Elvis' a magazine that came out in 1978  So what's the going rate for PAPER these days (paper pads X 2 plus 1 single piece of paper = $4.00.......a bit steep isn't it ? )

I sent an email to the seller and their response was "they would have to check with their sources, but were pretty certain that <the info on eBay> was correct."
