Carolyn -

This caught me out too !

Soundtrack songs sometimes have two identifying numbers.

One issued by the film studio and one by RCA.

The studio number is often something like 'AO', 'BO', 'CO' etc.

The difference with 'Girl Happy' is that the two numbers are very similar !

For example: 'The Meanest Girl In Town' = 2002 [film studio]/SPA3 2008 [RCA].

Confusing isn't it ?

I wasn't knocking anyones collection, if a person only has 1 Elvis cd or 10,000 it's ok by me both ways, the only people I have problems with are those WITHOUT an Elvis cd, poor mis-guided fools  . Carolynlm I was quoting you 'catalogue their collection', I was meaning, what a great idea to 'catalogue one's own collection', so that they know what takes they have of what song & where they will find it. This is easy for you to find your Elvis music, don't you have it with you at work ?

Just ignore them Carolyn.
I catalog my Elvis collection too. I have it on computor and hard copy listed by titles and year in alphabetical order and chronologically.
I have no idea why anyone would make a joke out of your comments.
Just immature I guess.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'ignore them' Jeff, there really was no them, Colin B asked was that sarcasm, as we know that Colin B is from England, I made a comment that 'a Scouser being sarcastic ?' towards him, as he would know that I'm originally from Liverpool England (& all that implies). The fact that I've lived here for 35 years makes me an Aussie & I don't think Carolynlm really thought I was being sarcastic anyway, it was an error in me quoting a line from her, I've responded to many of Carolynlm post in the past (mainly her new great job posts) & I've never had a dig at anyone (except Curtis...I don't believe people should be going under multiple false names on any messageboard).

I used to file mine by year date also but it can be a problem after a number of years when you can't remmeber what year a cd came out, so I've now changed that to ;- Import Live Concert Cd's by date of show, Import Studio Cd's by name, BMG all by name & FTD's in order of release. Which reminds me who would have thought when we had say 'Jungle Room Sessions cd' in our hot little hands that we would have all of these ftd's afterwards....wow it 's been a long & fantastic time, can't wait for the next Soundtrack ftd's....come on Chrsitmas.
