Number 1, he last performed in Memphis in 1961.
Number 2, this explains a LOT.

I just hope they don't hire that Coldplay dude again for mixing and mastering.
Really? I loved his work on MSG show. I hope the dude is back!

Sorry, of course it's all a matter of taste. But I can't listen to this darn mess.
I'm amazed! The Dude made the whole concert alive again. He also brought some edge the the sound that the original vinyl was lacking. The original mixing and mastering was done in a bit hurry, wasn't it?
When I bought the Legacy edition of Aloha after the MSG release, it sounded so boring that I never even listened the whole CD. It may rot in peace.

I'm ashamed to admit, but I didn't even listen to the rehearsal show.... I have to check it out.

48 hours to memphis cant be considered a classic album, as this was not released in elvis lifetime.

A Legacy production dedicated to the Sun recordings (60th anniversary) would have made more sense to me, and it was also the perfect opportunity to release the live I Forgot To Remember To Forget. Instead here is Elvis live in 74 singing Mama Don't Dance and Let Me Be There. This is very disappointing.
There are much better albums that deserve a legacy treatment (even the one dedicated to Elvis albums) but here we go again wasting time and space in the catalogue.

How in any way is this a Legacy Edition release? If this information proves to be true, it's somewhat disappointing. I guess it's an opportunity get these shows out into the mainstream but I don't see the attraction (from a general public point of view - doesn't have the notoriety of the MSG or Aloha shows).
