For those of us who usually have enough with a soundboard per tour, which 1975 June cd would you recommend?

My vote goes to the Memphis show, but the June 2nd show features a very good version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" that I enjoy very much.

Exactly, DAE's Let Me Take You Home is superb. Great version of Fairytale on that show.

Of all the shows I like "Deep Down South" from June 3, 1975 the most.

Yes, definitely, one of my favorite Elvis concerts from this era.

I couldn't believe how much I loved this cd when I first got it back in '95.

Most of this week, June 1-10, 1975, finds Elvis in a good mood, good song selections and the band playing right in the pocket.

Another one I like from this era is, "Cut 'Em Down To Size" ...

Elvis telling security off, in defense of his adoring fans, is pretty kool !

Let Me Take You Home is one of the very few soundboards i own. In fact, when i bought it, i had no idea what a soundboard was and was kind of puzzled at the label. I stayed with the official label for the most part and i am only now discovering the other recording carreer of the king.
Having said that, Let Me Take You Home is quite a pleasant listen with indeed a very strong version of Fairytale. Imo surpassing the studio master. One of the things that struck me though of this show is that Elvis is unable to keep the pace up during the show as a whole. Elvis is saved by his report with his audience, individual strong performances and listening to this show, you know he was giving all he had. But the motor was sputtering. And it would soon cease to function completely in Las Vegas. To me, things to come were already showing, but Elvis' showmanship and individual strong performances carried him trough.
In short, Let Me Take You Home offers a fascinating insight at the Elvis show at that particular time and most certainly is a keeper.
Thanks doc for your added thoughts and insights.

I've never heard of any such thing.

Where can one see a copy of it?

I probably made a mistake in spelling, English not being my first language. Do you know what word i am trying to describe?

Rapport?

I'm with you now.

But your English is better than some on the board who were born in this country.
