When I opened this thread I thought it was about "That's All Right". :D

I wouldn't call it "awesome" but at least it sounds interesting. Boy, now I finally realized what a stinker to me this really is (sorry to all "My Boy" fans here, no offense taken).
It's never been a favourite of mine, I rather listened to some of his stupid movie songs than this one.

Mike, do you have a leveler on your audio system? Unfortunately your original rip is clipped but hey, again I'm thankful for your interesting uploads.
I tried to clean it up by using ClickRepair, converting it to real Mono, adding a little puncher to it (okay, that's digital) and speed correct it (as usual) by about two-and-a-half percent.

Elvis Presley - My Boy (Mono).wav
http://www46.zippyshare.com/v/29307112/file.html

Interesting fact: the fade-out runs about a second longer than on the recent remaster! :D

Enjoy!

P. S.: Mike, is there a possibility you also could upload "The Next Step Is Love" in mono? But please beware of the clipping (like on "I've Lost You"). Thanks in advance! ::rocks

luckyjackson1 here's a LP rip of "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" - Jim Croce. In Flac but note the file size due to it's a quadraphonic mix upconverted to 5.1, it was decoded using the QS-Final software decoder .
The Flac file has a silent center and sub channels.

Can be played via PC without burning to 5.1 using UMPlayer codec.

Although Zippyshare cannot play this correctly it will need downloaded.

Sounds a little weird over my headphones (two channels)...
But no doubt it sounds better than the versions I heard (especially the nineties CDs or when it's played on the radio).

Unfortunately I don't have a sound system for about six years anymore as I don't want any trouble with my neighbors.

But thanks anyway for your upload, promiseland!

Mike, while listening to your upload I can't help but wonder if the master as found on the Complete Masters box set runs too slow...? There's a difference between the mono mix and the CM master of six-and-a-half seconds... :wtf:

I would actually like to have some more opinions on this behalf. Your rip sounds quite "normal" to me as my 45 RPM sounds the same. And if you listen to the mono mix first and then put on the CM master, it sounds really funny... I wish somebody could confirm that the latter runs too slow.
