Jailhouse Rock is an all-time classic and I would assume 99% of you would agree it is his best movie title song ever. Would be interested to see what your next top 5 would be. It must be the title of the movie, thus King Of The Whole Wide World wouldnt count even though it played over the opening credits. Mine are:
King Creole
Follow That Dream
Viva Las Vegas
Girls Girls Girls
GI Blues
I apologize if this has been done before!

Jailhouse Rock would be in my top 5, but it is not my favorite. That honor has always gone to
Wild In The Country.
The rest in no particular order would be:
Follow That Dream
Jailhouse Rock
Charro
Change Of Habit

So you like the ones with the letter G?
On more serious note: once again I'm surprised how little fans care about Love Me Tender! Even songs like Girl Happy get more votes than this classic Presley recording.

I have never really liked the studio version of Love Me Tender.
I have always preferred the 1968 version.

Shame on you Rob.
Fortunately Love Me Tender got at least few votes!

I like nearly all of the title songs, with the possible exception of Stay Away Joe. Even things like Kissin' Cousins (not the single version) and Roustabout have a laid-back charm about them, as does Fun In Acapulco. Speedway has a nice urgency to it and Double Trouble is fun.
I particularly like King Creole, Flaming Star (love his voice on that), Follow That Dream and Charro! ; and Viva Las Vegas has just grown and grown in fame over its (almost) 50 years.

I am not sure if I'd put Jailhouse Rock at the top of my personal movie soundtrack favorites. I actually tend to think that Jailhouse Rock transcends its movie origins (much like Love Me Tender), so that non-fans don't necessarily associate it with movie. However, I digress. My top 5, sort of in order:
Spinout
Change of Habit
Double Trouble
Harem Holiday (yes, I know it's technically not the title of the movie, unless we're talking the UK release)
Speedway
It's really hard to limit it to just five, though (at least for me). If I could add a few more I'd go with (again, sort of in order):
Frankie and Johnny
Fun in Acapulco
Easy Come, Easy Go
Paradise, Hawaiian Style
Girl Happy

+1, watched charro yesterday, Its a whole diffrent movie then the usual ''Presley Formula'' The acting is good, The story is really a story, Adding songs in the movie (Except ofcoarse the movie credits) Would have taken away from the movie. I think this was the kind of roles elvis needed, No Songs A Good Story, Good Co-actors.

I thought Charro was a great movie song, in step with the times, especially for a Western theme, but the movie? Elvis is too stiff, and the constant chessy background music just didnt work for me. Also the guy who played Vince's brother was not a very good actor IMO and he had a lot of scenes. Story wasnt bad as you mentioned so it could have been a lot better film with some tweeks.

Jailhouse Rock isn't one of my top five Elvis movie theme songs.
I'd go with:
1. Change Of Habit
2. Spinout
3. Girl Happy
4. Loving You
5. Wild In The Country
I also really like the theme songs to Easy Come, Easy Go and Double Trouble which are both cool groovers!
