A lot of people are talking about his jumpsuits and his weight......... only because he died to early.......
Elvis had lost weight before his Pitss. concert and maybe he had lost more weight in 1978 or 1979......if he was still alive and not so heavy anymore nobody would talk about those years ....it would not be a great deal that he had some years out of shape......
If you looking at the concerts of Tom Jones.....in 1972 he was wearing the same jackets and pants as in 1982 ...and stopped in the middle of the eighties.....so if elvis would be alive he had certainly stopped wearing the suits in the beginniging of the eighties....and it would be a great part of historie the suits....and wearing now something of a great designer.....

A lot of comments why was Elvis wearing his jumpsuit on the topic where: Elvis shopping for cars in jumpsuit. Here's one from Simon1... "I think he was maybe wearing this jumpsuit that day at home for whatever reason, maybe Bill Belew had sent someone because some jumpsuits had to be altered. And maybe Elvis suddenly felt the urge to go shopping for cars and heck he didn't want to change"

Has anyone noticed his left foot? It looks like he's wearing those big furry novelty slippers that look like Yeti's feet or something!

I'm certain I've seen a pic of EP behind the wheel whilst wearing the white "Black Phoenix" jumpsuit,and I've seen one of him driving whilst wearing one of the '75 navy 2-piece suits...the latter could however more easily used as casual wear...but what was the story behind EP driving whilst wearing the Black Phoenix suit? I think I seen both photos in "Elvis Monthly" back in maybe '94/'95...I'll try and hunt it out.
