Editing Elvis audio?

Sun Jan 20, 2013 2:23 pm

Does anyone have a simple guide how to edit elvis audio tracks?
Im sure many here do edit songs and each one perhaps uses different software as well.
Someone made a cool edit of Fool with "blow" ending but it didnt have the little pause
that appear near the end on Venus version.
My knowledge in editing is simple like fade in/out,removing talking,FS from a track and so on.
Any tips?

Thanks.....however that post was more about normalize songs to a certain sound level....not editing.
Maybe he will read this topic....if that what you meant.

The earlier mentioned Fool take + repair some songs that has errors aka stranger in the crowd that are mentioned by others.
Would also like to remove some of the repeated verses from "dont think twice its all right"......the 8:36 version with proper intro.

I would still recommend "Goldwave," it's an user-friendly audio editor with tons of cool features.

I just wonder who that was? :D

Anyway, I use the well-tried "Steinberg's WaveLab 6" for years now. It's a program for professionals and in the first place not really easy to use. Once you grow accustomed to it (along with the program you'll have a huge manual), it's quite easy.
I have to admit I tried Version 7 but didn't get along with it for there are some features missing from the previous.
