January 1970 RCA Studio Hollywood rehearsals recorded?

Keith's site notes that Presley rehearsed in the RCA Hollywood studios Jan 10-16, 1970 in advance of his 2nd "comeback" Vegas engagement. Were these rehearsals recorded in the studio by RCA?

I don't know for sure if RCA recorded any of these or not. According to a friend of mine who is a DJ in Philly, he said it is possible that Joe Espisito or even Charlie Hodge may have recorded parts of these rehearsals with a tape recorder. They would be nice to hear even if they are sub-standard quality.

That site parrots data first published in one of JAT's session books, regarding the January 10-16, 1970 rhythm section rehearsals for the January 26, 1970 OS at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. Whether the author was privy to actual recordings or simply paper documentation is unclear.

Since RCA Hollywood had professional recording capability (i.e. sessions for "G.I. Blues", "Burning Love"), it is more than likely some recordings were at the very least made of the "new" songs being worked up, to judge their merits. Glen Hardin was crafting some arrangements. In any event, none have ever surfaced.

It would be cool if it existed. Anything from 69 or 70 is great.

Jerry was 27, about to turn 28 on February 6.

You would think they would so Elvis could listen to how they sounded. Anything is possible. Let's hope they do and not in some greedy selfish collectors hands.
