As Doc pointed out "No session tape or accessible acetate" There are very limited sources from this session. IIRC your version may be the missing Take 2 and should run approx. 2:25 or since being an acetate, It may very well be the Take 1 of the "Movie Version" which is about 5 min longer than the missing Take 2, making it around 57 min longer than the released Master .
Would be a delight to hear in any quality, please let us know.

Wow, 5 minutes longer??? That's a long song...

We're probably talking about the unedited movie version.

Take 1 (M) 2:30 (Instruments overdubbed to unedited 2016) Acetate°

Not sure if they have the correct tempo though (I think "I've Got To Find My Baby" runs equally fast as the edited master):

I've Got To Find My Baby (Unedited Master).wav

Wolf Call (Unedited Alternate Take 3).wav
http://www65.zippyshare.com/v/55480455/file.html

Both of these can be found on the CD's "From The Bottom Of My Heart"

"I've Got To Find My Baby (Unedited Master)" - is on Vol. 1

"Wolf Call (Unedited Alternate Take 3)" - is on Vol. 2

Sound Quality = 2

Please excuse the bad sound! I´d love to hear the original acetates.

Thanks for sharing this track; the announcer calls 2016 take 2 >>>> this is the unedted master take (runs a little bit too slow).

Has anybody here heard the unedited version of "Startin' Tonight"?

Thanks, Doc!

Very nice, and thank you very much drghanem, for this little gem. I always thought Elvis would sing different lyrics though.

drghanem, hope you don't mind I tried to polish the sound a little (although it's pretty rough) and tried to speed correct it (although it still runs a bit too slow):

Fort Lauderdale Chamber Of Commerce (Unedited Master).wav

I hope one day all of these edited movie songs will be released (just like "Could I Fall In Love", I almost never listen to the edited master again).

Thanks luckyjackson, you really did a great job cleaning and correcting the sound. It´s so much better, must be your Midas touch!
Have a super weekend!

Didn't know there was such a thing. How do you know this was also edited?

Thank you so much for your kind words, drghanem. (Although the pitch isn't totally correct yet.)
You have a great weekend too! ::rocks
