While the notion that such a themed album is funny-and it is- I can't help but think that the idea is not far removed from some of the poor choices made in the past with Elvis material by the record company (RCA/BMG). I mean, how was/is Elvis supposed to be taken seriously when an Album is issued like the one for "kids and grownups too?"

I will only buy it if it includes the previously unreleased and 'recently discovered' recording of Elvis singing "Leaf from a tree", as sung in his school talent contest in 1949!

Well, that would certainly be a find! I guess you're testing the members. Elvis's first talent contest was in '45, when he was only 10, and he sang "Old Shep."
Just before leaving Tupelo, in '48, at 13, he sang "Leaf On A Tree" to the kids as a "goodbye." It's a children's song, which was sung by a child. If anyone doesn't know it, my goodnight clip for tonight:

When we get to 28 call me. Then we can start up an elimination process in order to select 20 winning tracks from this mish mash (!). Another thing, I need some more input on my Beatles concept
