I have it. The quality is good and the songs are complete. The artist may have cut the song short due to the way Sullivan wanted it to be performed, but they are the performances that were seen on TV. Now the bad part. They actually repeat several artists doing the same songs on several different volumes and they are very heavy with The Supremes and other acts across different volumes. Ed had almost everyone on his show but you will find not Sam Cooke, DC5, Everlys, Gene Vincent, Do-Wop groups, Connie Francis, and so many more on these DVDs, If they were going to put out 12 volumes, better care and thought should have gone into it. I like it and revisit it from time to time, but it could have been so much better.

same artists/songs means actually the
same performances/dates?
or same artists/songs, but
different performances/dates?

Yes exactly the same performance and date. Inexcusable IMO

It's releases from years ago. Single issues have been in the sales bin for peanuts. Cheaper than what they are being sold for at the lower price in your link!
