You're very welcome, JohanD!

Mike, unfortunately I never owned Volume 1 and 2 of the "A Legendary Performer" Series - to be honest, I haven't even heard the first volume yet.

But here's another gem (although no dedicated mono mix):

Elvis Presley - It Hurts Me (Original 45RPM Mono).wav (File size: 13MB)
http://www34.zippyshare.com/v/27662456/file.html

And the strange version from the "Elvis In Demand" album with the Jordanaires omitted (also a monaural version, probably by mistake):

Elvis Presley - It Hurts Me (from 'Elvis In Demand' album).wav (File size: 13MB)

Thanks Mike - I have two copies of the Don't Cry Daddy / Rubberneckin' single but they are both in stereo.

Anyway, here's "Don't Cry Daddy"... funny as I decreased the speed by about five percent but somehow I think it still doesn't sound right...

Thank you for the last downloads specially for the Elvis In Demand version, love it! 8). But I think that my U.S.A 45 rpm single of It Hurts Me sounds better than yours, I find the one that you ripped lifeless. I have ripped it for you so you can compare both 45 rpm. Bye for now :smt006.

Hey Mike, I know what you mean. It's funny as I think the big problem is the sound card in my PC. Every time I rip a record it sounds pretty good over my headphones but when I listen to the data file, I'm quite disappointed.
And I don't feel like doctoring too much around with puncher or EQ as it sounds too digital then.

But thanks for your upload. And as a special gift I uploaded the raw rip of my single for you - maybe it sounds a little more "natural"?
Although there has been some strange noise on that record... :wtf:

Elvis Presley - It Hurts Me (Mono 45RPM raw rip).wav

BTW, I'll do the clean-up to your upload within the next few days. Is there a way you can upload the B-Side of "Rags To Riches" and the "It's Only Love" mono single? Thanks in advance! ::rocks

Sounds GREAT without those damned Jordanaires! The piano is easier to follow too. I wish we could get Elvis' entire catalog without them. The only backup I have ever liked were the various female singers and the Imperials. I do not like Voice or The Stamps either.

But I think everybody that wants it should write you a pm, I wouldn't post the links in public here.

Talkin' 'bout posting links in public ( :D  ), here's one of my very first Elvis singles I bought. It was at a flea market and I paid 50 Pfenning (today about 0,26 Euro Cents) for it. As the B-Side was kinda rare back then I guess I was lucky. By owning this record I never understood all the fuss about it being a "lost song". But that was most likely the stereo master. Also at least it was featured on the great "Rare Elvis" LP (but also in mono).
Did you ever realize Elvis' heavy breathing on that track? To me it was an unusual tune and I liked it although I thought he sounded a little "tired" or uninspired.

I'm aware that these are no dedicated mixes at all, but it just sounds so... antique.

Elvis Presley - Love Letters (Original 45RPM Mono).wav (File size: 15MB)

Elvis Presley - Come What May (Original 45RPM Mono).wav (File size: 10MB)

@Mike: I won't make it today and tomorrow to clean off your uploads. I'm probably done by Wednesday.

It is almost imposible to find a 50´s or 60´s Mint Elvis singles as there never were any sealed as opposite to Elvis Lps that were sealed. Having said this I have bought Elvis singles which looked like Mint copies to me and when they were played they had surface noise :x.

Record cleaning machines are expensive and I only found them in USA but they are not ready to work in Europe because of the electric power 220 Volts we have over here.

Here below is the requested song . Enjoy!. Bye for now :smt006.
