"ADayInTheLife" - Wednesday 2nd March 1960
Sat Aug 25, 2012 11:18 am
On Wednesday 2nd March 1960 Elvis Presley was in Scotland. And 35 years later in March 1985 Gerry McLafferty, Harry Carrigan and Gerry Cairns from the Glasgow “The Elvis Touch” Fan Club compiled a terrific magazine to commemorate the occasion. I was looking at it today and thought it was too good not to share for those who haven’t seen it. I’ve included what appeared inthe Scottish newspapers the following day, the pictures aren’t the best quality as they have been reproduced from the original newspapers.

Thanks for posting these. I have never seen these before and I have always been interested in Elvis' brief visit to Scotland. Very informative articles, and it's great to see so many photos, especially the ones with the fans. Don't be put off by the quality, Julian, this is a piece of history well documented by these pics.
Cheers!
Andy.
