It is both tbh pal. It has got a ton of images, but has some good text aswell, but it is actually like a calendar of what happened on that day/month throughout the yr of 1953 and then moves to 1954 and so on. Sorry quite hard to explain exact.

Sort of like Ernst's book Elvis Day By Day ?

Well, the RCA master is a splice from takes 3 & 5.

I'll take a guess that the "Sun master" is the one found in "Elvis At Sun" (take 2).

I'm not entirely sure what the difference is, I've not listened to everything in detail yet, but neither is the "Elvis at Sun" master take 2. Both of these have the whistling intro. Different splices maybe? Added reverb? I'm not able to listen again at the moment unfortunately.

I received the set yesterday and had only the chance to skip through some of the tracks and some of the pages yet.
My first impression is that the sound quality is pretty good! My Happiness and the other private acetates sound for the first time very clear AND very authentic ... especially the guitar sounds so good, it almost sounds as good as the homerecordings from 1966! The first version since the release on the CD "The Great Performances" that doesn't sound "lifeless". Very impressive are also the very known Louisiana Hayride performances ... the first appearance sounds as recorded yesterday ... and Hearts Of Stone puts the "remastering" by the MRS label to shame ...
