I just finished watching my Clambake DVD and I must say that the red Corvette caught my eye! Did a bit of checking on the internet... Turns out that this car is a Stingray 3 and was built by GM in 1959. You can definately see that they were anticipating the '63-'67 body style all the way back in '59. Apparently this great car is still in the hands of GM and is stored away in their "secret" collection somewhere in Detroit.
I was glad to learn that the car still exists, but perhaps it should be on display at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, or maybe the in the car collection at Graceland?

Interesting Post .............
.........thanks, "Wes."
Don't think Graceland will ever put it on display if they have to pay for it . Would surely be nice to see in person in a museum somewhere, someday.
Who knows, ............ there are surely GENUINE "multiple originals" out there of it - somewhere.
...HAHAHAHAHAHA!
