Elvis in National Portrait Gallery Washington DC.

The portrait "Loving Elvis" by Ralph Wolfe Cowan is in Washington Gallery. Does anyone have a picture of it?

We were in Washington September 2000 but the Gallery was closed for alterations-we had to make do with The White House:-) And heard a Senate meeting-got in because we are Irish!

One of Cowan's beautiful and rarely seen Elvis paintings is on the link

I'm sure that curtis could get someone to drive him up to DC and back in an hour or so to take a picture of it for you.

Hi Maurice,

The best I can do for you is as follows:

However, the writers comments about Elvis and race leave something to be desired. I feel a letter coming on!!
