Hey Guys I was listening to the song flaming star todaya nd was wondering which one people prefered flaming star or black star?

For me i prefer flaming star cause it just flows better

Why does that Youtube link say the "Black Star" has never been released to the public???!! And why are there 2 threads on this trivial subject?

Without reading anyone's responses, BLACK being one syllable doesn't work for the song. FLAMING stretches it into 2 to almost 3. Something he couldn't do with BLACK.

One of the names considered in pre-production was Flaming Lance.

But, when they tried to record it, Elvis got a fit of the giggles, constantly thinking of Lance LeGault !
