What number is your Sony Box Set?

Post by luckyjackson1 »

Hi folks,
I guess somebody will start this thread anyway so I decided to do it.

My copy has the number 0179/1000.

From what my wife told me the set looks like the one on the regular completeelvis.com site. Big mother though! :D

So, what is your number? Just curious...

TCB-FAN, I fear you didn't order one, right?

I just wonder how many people on this board ordered it (how many copies have been sold to the FECC members). I know Daryl ordered three of 'em (two for himself and one for a friend).
Also I would like to know how big the percentage of women on this board, who ordered the set, is.
And in general, too!

And finally I would like to say that I'm NOT curious!!!

Hi luckyjackson1

Congratulations!!! You lucky son of a gun!! Why don't you just take the day off!!!!

By the way... have you been charged extra for taxes (I seem to recall you were wondering about that in one of your posts). Usually when a packet is sent from the USA to Germany sometimes you have to pay added taxes. Just curious.

Hi Sessionman, thank you for your kind response. I have ZERO minutes of leave left so I'll have to be at work every single work day until December 31... and today is the worst day to be at work... :|

I was charged shipping and import tax.
My total bill was 981 $ and a few cents.
I was just fooling around on one post because I didn't want to pay the big amount of the import tax (which is, I think 19% from 750 US-$)...

And by the way, I really don't mean to offend anybody. If somebody feels personally attacked by some of my comments, I apologize for that. That is not my intention.

I will not know until Saturday as my package arrives today but I will not be home until Saturday. 0056 would be a nice number!

I had one time the case.

It was limited to 35.000 and I got the number 37894.

The company has replace it with all the other format (cd collector, cd long box, cd deluxe, cd crystal) free.

Me as well live in Sweden and they arrived from Köln to Sturup airport this morning I live right in the south of Sweden so that is why
they could deliver today.
If it looks like the US version, then we need to know about the Japanese version, BMG has some explanantion to do, at least that's
what I think..

Don't know yet, as I wasn't home they deliver it tomorrow instead
but I let you all know, but a little dissapointed about the Japan
version there seems to be two versions...I rather had the Japan
version, more stylish in my opinion

We do not have official word yet, but the accumulating evidence -- including a poorly written answer from Sony Japan -- is that there is ONLY the so-called "U.S. version."

As soon as I got the knowledge of the Japanese website I did send
a mail to the masters webbsite but they havent give me an answer.
But to me it seems funny that they made that stylish version in only one copy and the advertising it on internet.
