I find that the sounbd on this one is pretty decent, certainly better then the cdr of it.
On the SR version is worked hard i think... it's the best sounding AR from this tour like this.

I've heard one from the Boston show which sounds much better than this one - for an AR.JohanD wrote:I find that the sounbd on this one is pretty decent, certainly better then the cdr of it.

At the moment, this show from 1976(wrong date on cover) plays.
A fine show in good sound.

CD 2 - August 11th 1970 MS: Fantastic show, I'd not listened to this show in a while and I'd forgotton just how great it is.
Followed by:
August 12th 1970 DS: Another excellent show, 1970 sure was an incredible year for Elvis.

An excellent 30 minute live CD from the Louisiana hayride. When I compare this to Elvis' other live work such as 'on stage' and MSG, it's amazing what a fabulous career he had

The overdubs are well done and not intrusive at all.

Re: Last Elvis Concert You Listened To Was?
CD:2 - August 12th 1970 MS - Fantastic concert, every song is performed brilliantly and probably my favourite live versions of love me, words, and sweet caroline.
Been really enjoying Elvis' August 1970 shows recently including the excellent Rick Rennie audience recordings from August 19th - 21st. All the shows from this Vegas season were top-notch to say the least!
