August 28, 1973 as faetured on Take these chains from my heart CD-boot from early 90´s. Great show, inferior sound. I know the original masters have a brighter sheen to them Can someone find them?

Man, that is an awesome cover....got it as a 16x20 on my wall;)
It was a fold out in an 80s magazine - is that the one Deb? Another picture on the back?
no Andy, its got a wooden back. The guy wouldn't ship it to the UK, so some friends of my Parents in Ohio 'bought' it. The guy was flying into Leeds, so I picked it up from there.......job done

The Back With a Bang cd. It's the one 1975 concert I never tire of listening of.

This was very enjoyable to listen to. It not only had a very smooth, warm sound, it also featured a very good performance by the star attraction. I especially loved this version of
Sweet Caroline. However, the highlight of the night was
An American Trilogy. The audience started an ovation at Elvis' opening words and were blowing the roof off with applause at the final note. This is one of the best audience recorded shows I have heard lately. I have always enjoyed the March '74 tour and this CD enhanced the enjoyment.

January 27th 1971 MS.
I'd forgotton just how great this show is, Elvis is in fine voice and in a great playful mood. The entire setlist is excellent with superb versions of something, make the world go away, YLTLF, and polk salad Annie. This is probably in my all-time top 10 shows from Elvis' 1969-77 concert years

Yes, they are. And what a revelation these new mixes are. Especially on the evening show.
I keep listening those shows. It is a delight to hear those snares, those basslines, that voice. Oh, it has been a long time since i was so excited about known, rereleased material. This really is a winner and it deserves all the success it gets.
