Brian...something to ponder...would it not be more productive to simply state the following;

I will advise the board when Elvis has a new entry in the BILLBOARD TOP 200 :wink:

Billboard Magazine states that the album sold just over 2,000 units last week. Elvis improved on his record with his 130th charting album. Sinatra is in second place with 82 entries.

If I'm not mistaken, the last S-scan figures previous to the above were from mid August of last year.

Heart and Soul has sold approx 70k since Aug13 and Inspirational has sold 50k since then.

How much did Elvis sell in 2012? 1.1million is pretty good for a man long gone. Cash and Jackson have new albums out this year that probably will boost their sales.
Aren't The Beatles a posthumous act?

Wow! have you got Elvis' S-Scan sales for the last 4 years too?
How could Elvis have sold 1.1million albums in 2013? If I remember rightly, he only had 2 Christmas albums chart, 1 at #40, Also Elvis at Stax at #190? Guess his huge catalogue must sell in dribs and drabs?

Exactly. There is so much to choose from his back catalog, that a few sales on many titles adds up to a lot of sales. Elvis is no longer a big retail artist seller with new releases, but more a compiler. A brand new release by him doesnt sell say what one by Bruce Springsteen does, but those sales along with his back catalog sales adds up to a lot of sales. And the many new titles keep coming, so he complies & compiles.
