Re: Do you have a rare Elvis CD? Show it to us, please!
Here is a rare 3 disc Radio Show authorized by Graceland and BMG. These CDs are real silver picture discs NOT CDrs. They came with the program sheets but without any covers. It was released for the Elvis Tribute show in 1994. Extremely rare. This show is very unusual as the commercials are included on the CDs. Normally, the local stations are able to insert their own commercials.
Below you can see the 3 CDs and one program page of 4 program pages included.

Re: Do you have a rare Elvis CD? Show it to us, please!
I only have the non vinyl catalog CD"s with unreleased stuff, but I suppose some of those are now rare. I never got into boot CD's though I have heard most of them and have a few major ones like TFC, but I bought that more for the book and DVD's. I collect about thirty people pretty strongly and much rather have the vinyl. I do have almost every single boot LP, EP or 45 with unqiue material for vinyl, I did track down Elvis Latino recently so perhaps that's my rarest. I do have the complete masters set which I feel will become rare after it comes out. Frankly until recently I couldn't afford to reguarly buy both CD's and LP's and always went for th latter unless it wasn't made in that format. Maybe I will catch up on the boot CD's one day but I would rather buy them as FTD's and as I do possess most of the music on them it isn't a big deal for me.

Here we have the latest Readers Digest release - The Collection.
It was only released in Europe. One interesting thing is that it contains the original longer version of "Blue River".

Re: Do you have a rare Elvis CD? Show it to us, please!
Andy,
You are right about the sound on "Good Rockin' Tonight." To my ears "That's All Right (Mama)" sounds like the SUN master without the RCA added echo. If so, BMG had a copy of the unaltered SUN tape in their archives as late as 1993. The track "Good Rockin' Tonight" never sounded better anywhere. Also, I was surprised that the CDs are loud, more like today's standard, not the standard from 1983. But the way, what I displayed was the insert. The front and back of the jewel box has no photo, only the tracks as listed on the back of the inset.

Re: Do you have a rare Elvis CD? Show it to us, please!
Here is the French version of the "I am an Elvis Fan". I believe the shirt was colorized from white to yellow. It is also a 2 CD set instead of the usual 1 CD release. It is also a digipack.
Not rare but not easily available outside of France.
