Wow, did you see how much this CD went for?
How many of these CDs were made?
How were they distributed?
Was that a good price for that CD?
Sorry for all the questions.

The Heineken/Sony "Bossa Nova Baby" was distributed to those who took the Insider's cruise on the Mississippi River during Elvis' Week last August. Apparently, it has not been distributed elsewhere. I suspect Graceland has a good supply left over.

Thanks MT,
Do they normally sell for that price?
It went for around $165.

Mitch,
I've been watching eBay since August and I've only seen one "Bossa Nova Baby" promo offered for sale. On something like this, supply will determine the market. Unless many (several) more show up, the purchaser got a good buy.
I think the "Young Man With The Big Beat" sampler, also distributed in Memphis, may command more money. I've only seen one of them offered as well and sorry I don't remember what it sold for, but it was well over a hundred dollars.

For years I have requested that the long version of Tonight's All Right For Love be released by BMG , later by Sony . To no avail .
I was particularly disappointed when only the short version was on the MASTERS set . I was told only American masters was on
it. OK , I did not like that answer , but said to myself that since I have waited so long I would manage to wait longer and I would
not let it bother me any more .After all , I made my own cd-version in 1999 from the German stereo LP G. I. Blues
But then , like so many times before others seemed to see my plight and released Rare Elvis , vol. 4 .Look and behold , there it
was together with many other versions I was on the look-out for .I had also made my own version of Brown Eyed Handsome Man
and was happy to find a better edit here .
And the list goes on .
(OBS ,OBS ! There is another Rare Elvis , vol. 4 which is completely different . )

Splanky,
Actually, BMG released the long version of "Tonight's All Right For Love" on the German Club Edition CD "Elvis In Germany" in 1982. Here is a link to the track:

On of the ugliest covers; Elvis looks like a soldier of the Chinese People's Army.
