Marianna Hill was credited as Viola in Roustabout, but I can't seem to find her. Anyone with any screen grabs?
and was it her voice in Scratch My Back duet and has that recording been released?

Just a note on the soundtrack.

Since they recorded the songs with the Jords on one side of the stereo, they had to cut them out
because Elvis sang most of the songs by himself in the movie.

So, the versions in the movie sound very different than the record versions.

Generally the movie versions aren't mono, but what I would call half-stereo.

But you get to hear more Elvis in the movie.

And this is the session I believe where the producers told Elvis that there didn't need to be
any back ground singers on the song because he was riding a motorcycle, so where would the voices
be coming from. Elvis' response, " the same damn place the band is coming from". I love that story.

But they need not have worried, because as I mentioned before, they would have been cut out of the movie anyway for that very reason, while appearing on the record. In this case though, no Jords.
The song, "Wheels on my heels".

Yes, it was her voice that is heard on the soundtrack of Paradise, Hawaiian Style, but no record release [yet].

The 'Scratch My Back' number in PHS was either rehearsed or re-shot!

I could always tell that Raquel was not in the shower and thought it was just a mistake and that she was not in the film at all. Thank you for showing the scene she is in and clearing it all up. She is gorgeous in the picture of her at the tea house.

What do you all think about her claim of seeing him in the 1950's and saying "That's what sex is," and then on the Roustabout set, finding him to be packaged and I guess, less sexy? I sometimes wonder if these things are said with benefit of knowing the narrative of Elvis' story and following the story.

When I first saw her in "1,000,000 B.C.," I thought, "So this is what sex is."

Terri Garr appeared uncredited in 7 Elvis movies.
