Priscilla was like millions of other women who thought they could change the men they were in "love" with. When it comes to this stuff women don't think with their heads. That's why so many women get into relationships with men that are not good for them and end up unhappy. they need to throw all of that romantic nonsense out and think with their head. If you have to "change" someone then there is something seriously wrong.

You see, there's this thing: I can't really explain it. You think you can solve the problems, and truly change the person's life! I'm serious. Goes back to when one is quite young, too. Certainly not 14 or 16 or even 18. But in your twenties, that "something" often kicks in. I don't guess I'm speaking for every female, but gosh, listen to this song!! This is THE song about that. It's all so true. And she has spoken of the thing inside many women. "Maternal Instinct" or whatever it is.

Some comments: Elvis made rarely love with Priscilla after 1968 but he did. Even in their last night together on February 23 1972 when she claimed he raped her because of the drugs. About the tours: How can anybody explain that Linda Thpmpson was with Elvis in the whole period 1972-1976 at almost every concert and Cilla was not? So maybe even Priscilla wasn't interested to go. In Elvis by the Presleys Priscilla told us that if she knew how a devastating blow will be the divorce for Elvis she will not leave him. Red, Sonny, Lamar and the others all shares the same opinion: Elvis began to use Demerol and Dilaudid after Priscilla left him (from February to April 1972 he looked 10 years older because of that). Fortunately he recovered in time for the great NY shows in June and also for the Aloha (but here not completely). And priscilla had another dubious relation with Mike Edwards who was close to rape Lisa Marie. So Elvis, I am sorry but he was with all his faults better than anybody of Priscilla's lovers.
