I just read this thread & lots of its previous contributors have blank panels next to their names, have they all passed on or something :(

I hear you iplaystrat. I've got an Epiphone Elvis Presley Signature J-200 and play it alot. My wife and son got it for me for my birthday a few years ago (best present ever). I have a blast playing and singing Elvis tunes.

I have quite a few basses including a Gene Simmons Punisher, Fender Precision, Gibson Grabber, Gibson Ripper, and a Hofner copy. Usually crank up the cd player and play along with KISS and Alice Cooper. But my bass collection has been gathering a lot of dust for a while since I can't seem to put the J-200 down.

Can anyone beat that?

p.s. buy yourself a guitar, you'll be glad you did!

Wow! you played along with the cd "Elvis at Sun" is that even possible?
Some boardmembers will not believe you, unless you are a very skilled guitar player  .

Indeed it's fun to play along, i often do so, it's also a good practise.

p.s. actually i have three guitars, one of them a Martin DM (great guitar).

Oh I've never called myself "skilled".
I just love to play.

Elvis inspired me to start playing.
But that was just the beginning.
A few others in no particular order:

Jack White
Lindsey Buckingham
Robert Cray
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Buddy Guy
David Gilmour

And of course Elvis' guys Scotty Moore and James Burton.

That Elvis J-200 sounds like one sweet birthday present.
That jumbo size is a favorite of mine. Glad to know we've
got another guitar player on here.
