Here's a better scan of that classic Golden Archives label bootleg LP ->

Image

The Rockin' Rebel (GA 250, 1978)

SIDE ONE
1. The Milton Berle Show 6-5-56
A. Hound Dog
B. Elvis Meets Deborah Paget
C. I Want You, I Need You, I Love You
D. Presentation of Billboard Award
2. Interview from LaCrosse, Wisc.

SIDE TWO
Unreleased alternate takes from SUN: 1954-55

1. My Baby's Gone
2. If The Sun Don't Shine
3. Blue Moon of Kentucky
4. I'll Never Let You Go (Little Darlin')

Unreleased alternate takes from "King Creole" rehearsals
5. King Creole
6. As Long As I Have You

On another topic it was revealed how much work went into that cover -- including some almost unnoticeable retouching of part of the guitar!

Thanks for the better scan. I don't have my stuff organized yet. Just moved in everything has been in storage for the last 7 years. All I had was an old photograph.

Thanks for the Rhodesian pic Kempo.

And thanks to the good doctor for showing my favorite boot cover - REBEL 1!!! I got this photo from a HUGE Japanese poster that came out in the late 70's. Actually, both the bottom and top of the guitar AND some of the fingers of Elvis' right hand had to be added as the poster cut them off!!!! I had always hoped I'd find an RCA LP with this pic on it but so far no luck!

Hi Henri B,
I have 3 copies of the single given away in Tupelo in 1982, but one sleeve just has the Elvis printed on one side and just plain white on the other. Wondered if there were any more out there?

Here's the 2 picture discs of the UK release of 'The Elvis Medley'. The first issue missed out 'Hound Dog' in the track listing so it had to be re-pressed.

Actually, Robert Mugabe and his wife have always been big fans of Elvis. It is reported that he has a huge Elvis collection. Further, he had a house built for his wife and it is called 'Graceland'.

Here is a rare single made for the US-soldiers who were stationed in Germany in the 50's.
On the labels is written "made In USA" but on the vinyl is engraved "Manufactured in Germany".
