'Hard Headed Woman' - Top 5.

'Elvis The King' album has moved from No.40 back into the Top 30. I suspect the 'World's Greatest Elvis' TV Show' has something to do with this.

'Don't' - Top 100.

Elvis has three entries in the Top 20 Music Videos:-

(6) 'The 68 Comeback Special'

(12) 'Destination Vegas'

(16) 'Aloha From Hawaii'.

As of 6.20 p.m. GMT today (25th) 'The 68 Comeback Special' was No.2 and 'Aloha From Hawaii' No.8 on the Amazon (UK) Music DVD Charts. Both are the single disc versions. These lists are updated hourly.

I'm sure the TV show has had an impact on sales of Elvis DVD's; not surprising, it got me watching the Aloha DVD first thing Sunday morning! Would love to know the sales of Elvis' DVD's...

The only sales figures I've got are for 2004.

From the Top 10 Music DVD's - 2004:

No.8 = '68 Comeback Special - 75,449

No.10 = Aloha From Hawaii - 72,035

Remember, these were the expensive 2-disc versions competing for their top 10 positions against [mostly] cheaper 1-disc DVD's.

Both have clocked up more sales since then and, of course, both have been re-issued in single disc versions.

UK chart /sales update (26th).

'Hard Headed Woman' now Top 10. Album still Top 30.

Sony BMG(UK) state that they have 'shipped' around 190,000 copies of 'Elvis The King' album. To date it has sold 117,500 copies.

UK = Elvis Country. I'm amazed by the fact that Elvis' "best of" compilations still moves 100.000 and more units over there!
