Or the "Glimmers of Hope" one:

oooooooo It's a tie at the moment.

I saw Elvis live in concert the year before he died. Even then, he was bigger than life, and had amazing charisma. Haven't seen anything like it since, ....until Adam.........Nocturnal 2010

It's only a tie in the first picture. In the second, Elvis is practically naked.

... Im surprised, nobody yet, mentioned the 68 cover to be "strongly

influenced" by the RCA single Memories / Charro. The photos are

from one and the same session. And the overall design is pretty

close as well to the original single.... Better to steal from a good

existing design, than to come up with a crappy one yourself, my

father always said.

They're both beauts...!

And what, praytell, might be those "glimmers of hope" put aside for Volume 6 :?:

Anyone sitting on their hands during this monumental series is missing out -and crappy CD-Rs don't cut it either...!

Nice work, Southern Comfort...! What a year for Elvis releases!

Another option, print half of the print run in cover one and the other half in cover two, that way you create an instant collector item - and I assure you, there are idiots out there who want to have both covers - so it's an instant sell-out !

I love them both, but since the second portrait is from September 1970, I'd choose the other one.

And I noticed the superb homage to the 1968 "Charro" single.

I'm really, really sorry but I do not like the Glimmer of Hope photo at all - to me the camera angle makes Elvis look freakish
Sorry - don't want to upset anyone - just an honest view

I picked up on it right away and would have mentioned it, but you already did.

How about a picture from the Memories/Charro photo shoot with a hint of a smile?

Freakish is a strong word, as he also looks very good, but I know what you mean. Is it the hair that gives him a cartoony way? Or is it that he's as "thin as a rake"?
