TAPE BOXES SHOWN IN MEMORABILIA SECTION

#378865

Post by TONY »

In particular, the tape box from July 24th 1971, Lake Tahoe. Judging by the track list, it looks to be an interesting performance. Does anyone know wether these shows are planned to be released at some point, or if FTD have access to these tapes?

I just can't imagine some collectors hiding such treasures in the vaults just to keep saying : "hey , I've got this one and you don't". seems silly to me. i've heard of such collectors but I can't understand them.

Best wishes,
Yuri Nikulin

TAPES

The thing is, they're not really "treasures" in comparison, say to "Little mama" etc. Look at the Boston '71 show on cd; how many times have you actually, truthfully listened to it? All that will happen with these tapes is they will disintegrate over time and then they'll be no good to anyone.

I Agree at the end of the day let them keep them for them selfs if they want to. as time goes by the are lossing money on keeping them most of us are getting older and soundboards are 2 to a penny these days im happy with what ftd are giving us and im sure we still have plenty more intresting soundboards and better from ernst in as time goes by
