Heard this before.
The seconds you hear are actually in pretty clear sound.

It's hard to hear Elvis though.
The Colonel probably thought $3.50 was enough just to see Elvis,
and didn't rent a sound system;)

Thanks for posting, here again we hear a missed opportunity.

We can assume this whole concert was taped since the Canadian reporters are there right to the end of the concert performance, as we can hear Elvis singing "Hound Dog" However sadly it's not being recorded to really tape Elvis but for the recording of the screams throughout the concert.

The quality of the recording used sounds fairly clear, so if the equipment used would have been set up to record Elvis instead of the teenage reaction, I'm guessing the results would have been more than acceptable for release....maybe even back then....

Amazing the vision for this sort of thing wasn't really there back then....
